Medbrook Children's Charity Golf Classic

Each summer Medbrook Children's Charity hosts the Children's Charity Golf Classic at The Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport, WV. This event is the single largest annual fundraiser for the charity.

While the day revolves around golf, The Children's Charity Golf Classic is much more than a golf tournament. Cleverly dubbed as "not a golf outing but a one day festival" by Jimmy LaRosa the President of The Pete Dye Golf Club The Children's Charity Golf Classic is one of the largest and certainly the most unique event held at The Pete Dye Golf Club.

The Golf Classic features lunch, a round of golf featuring our signature format "The Shamble", complimentary beverages throughout the day, and an awards ceremony/cocktail party for all participants and their guests.

For those who thrive on competition each par five hole features a longest drive competition while each par three features both a closest to the pin contest and as well as a new car as a prize for a hole-in-one. There is also a longest putt contest on the 18th green. There are also team prizes for first through fourth place and special recognition for team with the highest score.

The evening activities features an auction of a select number of art collectables, recreational, and one of a kind items.
